Description

This pattern was inspired by the seeds we plant, both metaphorically and physically, to help us to navigate life. It is a meditative pattern, with a memorable repeat, to allow you to mindfully crochet.

All yarns featured in this pattern were created by Jody at Crochet UK –
www.crochet-uk.co.uk.

Scarf: 500m/132g 4ply gradient yarn (50% cotton, 50% acrylic). The examples in this pattern used Limerick (brights) and Perranporth (pastels).
Neckerchief scarf: 250m/66g 4ply gradient yarn (50% cotton, 50% acrylic). The examples in this pattern used Warwick (green) and Banbury (dusky purple).
3.5mm hook (or that of your preference or to match gauge for your yarn choice)

You can use different yarn to what was used in this pattern, but I think a 4ply yarn is most suited to the stitches in this pattern. However, the right hook size to yarn combination could yield some lovely results. Use just under half of your yarn for the increase section, moving to a 4 row transition section before starting the decrease section.

My finished scarf measured 66”/168cm long by 11”/27cm deep (unblocked).
Neckerchiefs: Banbury measured 46”/117cm long by 7”/18cm deep (unblocked). Warwick measured 43”/109cm long by 7.5”/19cm (unblocked)

I did not block this scarf as I didn’t feel it needed it. You could make this scarf any size you desire.

Available in UK and US terms.
